Day 167: Ducks and Geese

 I took a drive over to Daybreak today. The ducks and geese were out in full force... and even allowed me to take their pictures. Here is a selection of some of the pictures I took.

Day 166: Animal Crackers

I love Mother's animal cookies. They just taste sooo yummy!! And when I saw that they had green ones at the store today... I just HAD to buy some!!

Day 165: Independence Day

Yesterday was the 4th of July, and I actually got the day off!! I finally have a job where I get the holidays off. The only bummer is, my husband still had to work. I spent the morning working my work from home job while watching a movie.
Once my husband came home we made hamburgers and watched a movie together. Then we went to Riverton Park and walked around and got some treats.

We then walked over to the Riverton City offices and watched the fireworks.

I did take pictures for my photo challenge but I cannot post them today.
I am taking part in a photo scavenger hunt/contest where the photos have to be anonymous until after the contest. I will then add the pics...

Day 164: Sunrise

Today there was such a beautiful sunrise. I looked out the window and the sky was a rainbow of colors. Then I went outside and noticed that the sun was a bright orange fireball too!!

Day 163: I Love This Face

This little girl is such a ham. She is in our summer school class. At first, we weren't sure what language she spoke. She would always just smile at us. I tried English and Spanish, but either way, she just smiled. Then one day we caught her speaking to the other kids... and in English. :) She seems to be getting more and more comfortable in class, because each day she talks more, but she still plays the quiet game a lot. :)

These beautiful flowers are growing in front of our house. They are so pretty!!

Day 161: Thanks Z104

Last night my husband and I went out on a date. Our dinner was courtesy of Z104!! I won a gift card to Salsa Leedo's on the radio, so that is where we went for dinner. What's better than a date with my hubby? A free date with my hubby!!
