Our Little Peanut!

Well early Monday morning was quite the adventure. I woke up with a horrible pain in my lower back on the left side. My first thought was that I was passing a kidney stone. I've had them before and I recognized the pain. Of course, since I am pregnant- I was worried that maybe it was something else... and I didn't want to take any chances. So off the the Emergency Room we went. They took blood, they took urine and tested it all. They also said they wanted to do an ultrasound. My symptoms were also ones that might happen with an eptopic pregnancy, and since that is life threatening, they needed to make sure it wasn't.
We haven't had our first appointment yet, so this was our first chance to see our baby. I was so excited!! What a blessing it was to be able to see our baby for the first time. The baby was very active and the heartbeat was strong. It finally felt real- this life growing inside of me is a living, growing thing. I can't wait for our baby to grow bigger- and eventually be born. I can't wait to be a mommy!!

Taking A Break

So I've decided I'm taking a break on the 365 Day Challenge. Lately, I have not been feeling very well. I go to work in the morning, and by the time I get home I am completely exhausted. Don't get me wrong... I am very, very grateful to be pregnant and to be growing this little baby in me. I just haven't had the energy to devote time to taking a daily photo. I will still update my blog on occasion and will eventually pick up where I left off.

Day 259: Butterfield Canyon

My husband and I went up to Butterfield Canyon this morning to get our pictures taken. It was so beautiful up there with all the great fall colors. I can't wait to get the pics back. My friend took them for us and from what I saw, they are amazing!!

Day 258: Time for Warm Pajamas

 Well, it's about that time. Time to pull out the warm pajamas. I sure don't like being cold. I like to bundle up under a blanket and cuddle with my husband though.

Day 257: Beautiful Fall Colors

 I just really love this time of year!! I can't stop looking at all the beautiful fall leaves. I love the different colors of the leaves. I am glad we are having fall. Sometimes in Utah we go straight from Summer to Winter.

Day 256: Progress on the Babies Room

 Yesterday I did way too much. I ended up exhausting myself and I did not feel good at all by the end of the night. Thank goodness I have such a wonderful husband. Even though he had been gone all day at school, taking tests, etc... he still took over dinner and took care of me.
I was just about to go to bed when I realized I hadn't taken any pictures. Well, I've been at this 365 day challenge for 256 days. I had no intention of missing a day now. I wanted to take a few pictures of my progress in cleaning out the babies room. Right now, it is basically our "A Little Bit of Everything" room. So I started cleaning it out and putting stuff it other places. I can't wait to get it nursery ready!

Day 255: Beautiful Blue Eyes

The other day my sister and I went shopping. I needed some new dresses/skirts that will fit my growing body. This is one of her daughters. She is such a happy baby too!! She just kept smiling at me- every time I looked at her. And I don't know if you can tell or not in this picture but she has the most beautiful blue eyes ever!

Day 254: Eagle Pride!!

I love my current job!! I work at a great school and work with some awesome people. It's almost as if the whole time I was working at eBay... and was miserable on the phones... I was waiting and hoping for this. Today one of our little boys make a great milestone in his learning!! The other day, one kid accidentally called me "mom" and it was so cute!!
I couldn't ask for a better opportunity or job as I prepare for the next step in my life which is motherhood!!
