Day 163: I Love This Face

This little girl is such a ham. She is in our summer school class. At first, we weren't sure what language she spoke. She would always just smile at us. I tried English and Spanish, but either way, she just smiled. Then one day we caught her speaking to the other kids... and in English. :) She seems to be getting more and more comfortable in class, because each day she talks more, but she still plays the quiet game a lot. :)

  1. she is ADORABLE and this post just made me think of all the kids i've worked with in the past. jill, i just want to say THANK you for your comment. sorry it took me a while to reply but i've been really sick. throughout this journey, i've realized that i'm not alone. and to hear of others who are in the same situation, i completely understand. sometimes, knowing someone who has/is struggling with the same situation is comforting to me because i know that there's hope. and i truly mean this when i say, Heavenly Father KNOWS your desires. and it really is all in his time but we must do our part and continue in faith. we never know what he has in store for each of us and we mustn't give up. i would love it if you shared my post with your friend. and please let her know, just don't lose faith. plans change, life takes a different course, but in all things, don't lose faith. i wish the best with you and your husband. you both would be excellent parents because you are an amazing person with the heart of gold. thank you, jill, for sharing with ME and for always being so kind to me.

    1. Thank you so much!! Sorry you've been sick. I hope you start feeling better soon!! I love the kids I work with! I might not be a mom yet, but I feel privileged to get to work with such amazing and sweet kids every day! I will continue to have faith and trust in the Lord. Hopefully some day soon I'll be the one announcing a pregnancy. :)
