Day 160: Gardner Village

Today I went to Gardner Village and walked around. It's such a fun place to go to just look around.

Day 159: Sun Over the Temple

I went to the temple last night with the Relief Society. It was such a great experience, and just what I needed. I had a few things on my mind, and the temple always helps me regroup my thoughts.

Day 156: Flowers in my Garden

I love these flowers that I planted in my garden! We picked out four different kinds for our little garden in the front of our house. These ones have remained strong and beautiful the whole time they have been there. The others have had various stages of being alive. Some have been dead almost the whole time... some have come and gone, but these babies!! Beautiful!!

Day 155: Biscotti

Last night while at Hobby Lobby, I found this Biscotti cookie jar. Well, I happened to have a 40% off coupon as well, so of course I had to buy it. Are there any foods for you that aren't just about taste, but also linked to it are thousands of good memories? For me, my Grandma Prolo's recipe for Biscotti's is one of them. Growing up in San Jose, not too far from my Grandparents, I remember going to their house quite often. We loved spending time with our Grandparents. Also, there were two things we looked forward to at their house. #1: Would their candy dish be full? #2 Did Grandma bake any biscotti's? Every Christmas, Grandma would fill my Dad's cookie tins with Biscotti and these were Santa's cookie of choice.
Since I bought the cookie jar last night, and my Dad was here this weekend, I had no choice but to make some! They are yummy!! So yummy, that if you asked for one, I might just have to hold you to the $1 charge that is on the jar.

Today I went to my friend Jenn's house. She taught us all how to make these wreaths. I am not usually a crafty person, but I think I did pretty good!!

Day 152: Babysitting

My Dad and Mom went to California this week for my niece's graduation. They left my Dad's Suburban here, so therefore, my Dad's "friends" stayed here. We have been taking very good care of them. Tabby and Niki are having a ton of fun! They even made some turtle friends!!

Day 151: Just Me

I haven't posted pics of just me for a long time, so I thought I would finally do it...

Day 150: Chord Buddy

Today my chord buddy came in the mail!! I am so excited! I was already able to play a song today! This is such a great way to learn how to play the guitar. And you only have a one time payment, instead of lessons (which I can't afford).

Day 149: Tom's Shoes

I love my green Toms shoes! They are so comfortable, and cute!! Plus, I love that when you buy a pair of Toms, they give a pair of shoes to someone in need!!

Day 148: Our Bishop

Our Bishop is so great!! The Primary loves him cause he is just a kid himself. :) For Fathers Day, he came in today. The kids had to sing really loud. If they did, they got to put ties on the Bishop. I think he ended up with 30 or 40 ties around his neck at the end!!

Day 147: Sunset

We had such a beautiful sunset last night. The sky was filled with pinks and yellows and oranges! I love watching the sunset. My favorite was when I lived in Hawaii. There was a beach called "Sunset Beach" that was just a little ways from my house. Often times we would drive down there and watch the sun set. Whenever I see something beautiful like this in nature, I am reminded that I have a loving Heavenly Father who created this world for me. I feel so close to Heaven and to Him when I see His creations!!
