Day 221:The End of Summer...

 I love that the air is starting to feel cooler, and I am so glad!! I am really looking forward to fall. I love when the leaves change color, and the air gets crisper. I love apple cider, wearing sweaters, and the holidays!! I am glad however, that I still have some time where it's warm and I can wander around and take lots of pictures!!

Day 220: Thank Goodness for Pinterest!

 I sure love to cook!! And I love trying new things. So Pinterest is the perfect thing for me. I love finding new recipes!! I especially love making a new recipe and trying it for the first time, while thinking... "why haven't I been making this my whole life?". Tonights recipe was mm mm good!! It's packed with vegetables and has some sausage cooked into it. I sure loved it.

Day 219: Just One of Those Days

Yesterday was a crazy day!! It was the first day back at school. I loved being back and seeing my cute little Kindergartners who are now big first graders!! I loved all the hugs and excited faces I got!!
It seemed like I ended up having a million and one things to do yesterday with both of my jobs, errands, and other things... but I managed to get them all done. I rewarded myself with a little chocolate at the end of the day because.... well, sometimes you just deserve some chocolate!!

Day 218: Cloudy Skies

 Tonight we had cloudy skies outside and a bit of rain. I am glad!! I think I am ready (gulp) for fall. I can't believe I am actually saying that, only because once fall is here, then comes winter. I love fall though, I love the colors of fall and the cooler weather. And with all the fires we've had, I am ready for the ground to get wet and decrease the danger of fires.

Day 217: Fall Wreath

I went to another wreath class put on by my friend Jenn today!! I'm excited to put this up on my door. I also can't wait for the Halloween wreath class next month!!

Day 216: Our T-Shirt Quilts

 My adopted daughter and me with our T-shirt quilts. Hope hers will keep her warm in Rexburg when she's at school!

Day 215: BYU Creamery

 While my niece was with me last week, she really wanted to go to the BYU Creamery in Provo. So on Thursday we took a little drive. Ugh... I hated the traffic on the way there, but the ice cream sure was yummy!!

Day 214: Sewing Day

Today we had a sewing day. This week I have been helping my niece get her T-shirts ready for her T-shirt quilt. We got all the squares cut out and ironed them on to the interfacing. Today my sister sewed together the squares. Krystal and I made bracelets with the T-shirt scraps. And of course I played with Alyssa. :) Oh and Kayla painted... :)

Day 213: Temple Square with My Niece

I took my niece that is visiting me to Temple Square today. We had a wonderful time!! It's always so beautiful and peaceful there!!

Day 212: Come On In and Relax

I love multitasking. So naturally I have to have something to do while I am in the bathroom. So I have a sudoko book to keep myself and others busy!! :)

Day 211: The Up House!!

 We stopped by the Up house on the way home from church today so my niece could take a picture. I love that we get to pass this every week when we go to church.

Day 210: Birthday Princess

Today we celebrated my nieces 4th birthday. She's all about princesses and was so excited!!

Day 209: Watching TV with my Sweetie

This is the now infamous "foot" shot in my family, so of course I had to do one.  We are just chillin at home watching some Friday night TV.

A friend showed me this awesome new app for the iPhone. You take a picture and then the app will "paint" your picture. I am having fun with it!! It's called "Corel- Paint it now" for anyone who is interested. 

Day 206: Can I Have A Taffy?

I love Salt Water Taffy. I remember about 11 years ago, I lived with my oldest sister in Eagle Mountain. I had purchased some taffy and had it in my room. I came out and was eating a piece. My sisters youngest son who was about 2 at the time, came running up to me and asked; "Can I have a taffy, so can I Jill?" At first I told him no, since I had just come from my room, and didn't want to go back. He looked at me and started crying, so I ran back to my room and got him a piece. What a softy I am... :) So when I saw him this past week, I of course had to give him a piece, for old times sake. :)

Day 205: Thank You Trader Joe's

While in California, I just had to pay a visit to my favorite store- Trader Joe's. I found this yummy goodness that combines three of my favorite things to eat; Popcorn, toffee and chocolate!! I can't wait until Trader Joe's is finished here in Utah.

Day 204: Welcome Home...

Well there was one thing I didn't miss while I was in California.. and that would be my allergies. The whole week I was gone, I never once had a problem with my allergies. The second day I was home, they came back. Of course, it shouldn't surprise me. I never had asthma or allergies until we moved away from California.

Day 203: Coming Home!!

 Yesterday was the last day at the beach house. I was so excited to come home and be reunited with my husband. I missed him SO much! It's good to be home!
