Day 10: The Bridge

The longer I do this challenge, the more fun I am having and the more ideas I have for future pictures. We really do live in a beautiful world and I love looking around at all the beauty our Earth has to offer.

Day 9: Beautiful Mountains

Since I started this challenge, I've really been keeping my eyes opened to the beauty around me. I don't think I really ever took the time before to notice how beautiful our mountains are. Although I don't like the cold... I can't complain too much, because we sure do live in a beautiful place. 

Day 8: Auntie Again!!

Today we welcomed into the world baby Alyssa!! My sister Michele gave birth to a beautiful baby girl this morning. I am so excited! I love being an aunt, and I love brand new little babies. I love to just watch them, and hold them. I tried to get her to tell me the secrets of the pre-earth life... specifically when her baby cousin will be coming to our family... but she wouldn't tell.

Day 7: Gotcha Last!!

Today's picture is of my hand. If anyone reading this blog knows my Dad, mum's the word on this post. On Feb. 1, my Dad will be turning 70. We are planning a surprise party for him, and my assignment is to make a video. When I was in high school, my Dad and I started playing a game- "Gotcha Last". We would tag each other and exclaim, "gotcha last". When I went on my mission, he would send me letters on stationery with hands on it. One time, I got a letter with traced hands of my nieces and nephews. I retaliated and sent tracings of the hands of all the Elders and Sisters in my district. It was great!! My Dad couldn't believe I would tell people about how "crazy" my father was. :)
So, I decided that for the end of the video I would have a hand- with a subtitle that reads "A Gotcha Last Production"- so once again, I could "get him last".
I am excited to celebrate my Dad's 70th birthday and share this special surprise with him.

Day 6: Happy Birthday Brian!!

Today we celebrated Brian's birthday. I for one am glad he was born!! He is so kind, thoughtful and caring all the time. He always puts me first before himself. I love him with all my heart and am so glad he is mine for eternity!!!

Day 5: Tomatillos

So I love trying new recipes. Now that I am an avid fan of Pinterest, I've been able to find some really good sounding recipes. I found one that calls for tomatillos and since I have never cooked with them before I decided I wanted to give it a try. Today I bought some tomatillos for the first time. I'm excited to try it out!!

Day 4: A Letter From A Student

Today I came into work and I had a note from one of my students. I thought it was so cute that he wrote this all by himself. The spelling is very creative!!

The letter says:

Dear Mrs. Arrington,

I did 5 homeworks because I was sad. Love Peyton

Day 3: Wheeler Farm

Before I got married, I lived in Midvale. My condo was just a hop, skip and a jump away from Wheeler Farm. I used to go on walks here a lot. I came here with my old roommate, and my now husband (who was my boyfriend at the time), with other friends or sometimes by myself. I also went to Wheeler Farm and had picnics with nieces, nephews, and sisters. 

Wheeler Farm was where my friend Michelle and I would make fun of all the couples getting engagement photos. Wheeler Farm was where I got my engagement photos... :)

I just love coming here, as it brings back lots of good memories. For my picture today I wanted to take a picture of something at Wheeler Farm. As I drove in and saw the barn and the snow around it, I knew I found exactly what I wanted to take a picture of. 

Day 2: Some of the Kids I Work With

For Day Two, I took a picture of some of the kids I work with. They are so much fun to work with, and they have a lot of love to give. They are always giving me hugs and smiles and I just LOVE it!!

I seriously have the best job in the world!!

Day 1: The Love of my Life!!

I wanted to start my photo project with a picture of me and my love! Brian is my number one supporter in my life. I am so grateful for all he does for me. My husband works hard for our family. He even wakes up and makes me breakfast in the morning. 
He knows when I need a hug, or a kiss or a back rub or back scratch. I love him so much and am so glad to have him in my life!!

365 Photo a Day Challange

I found a photo a day challenge on Pinterest and decided I wanted to give it a try. It would serve a couple of purposes for me. First of all, I created this blog a while ago but haven't used it. Also, I used to take pictures all of the time, but don't anymore. I'm excited to try this out, and post my pictures on my blog.
