I just love being a mom. Adalaide is such a joy in my life. She just gets more fun every day.
I am glad that I have a little girl that I can dress up in pretty clothes too.
I am looking forward to spending the holidays with her. It's nice to spend it with my husband, but now it will be even more fun to spend it with her. I know she won't really understand what is going on, but it sure is fun to shop for her first Christmas. She won't be able to eat turkey on Thanksgiving, but at least I can give her some sweet potatoes. :)

My Baby Girl is Growing
It's been way too long since I've blogged. I guess that is Motherhood for you. It's a busy job, but it's a job I love. I can honestly say it is the best job I have ever had. I love watching her grow and try new things. At her four month appointment at the beginning of October, her doctor said that she could start rice cereal. He said that if she did well with that, she is welcome to start trying fruits and vegetables too. Well she tried the rice cereal and loved it. She has loved everything she has tried so far. She has tried apples, bananas, pears, carrots, green beans and squash.
We had a great first Halloween together. We were able to go back to the school I worked at last year for the Halloween parade. It was so fun to see everyone I used to work with, and also to see all the kids dressed up for Halloween. We also went to Daddy's work to go trick-or-treating.
The biggest news of the day however, is that my baby girl has two teeth!! We discovered them last night and it made me cry. I can't believe how fast she is growing up. The funny thing is, there were a few times when she was really fussy and we couldn't figure out why. She'd also drool a lot and put everything in her mouth, and we thought for sure she was teething- but she never was. Now, she really did cut teeth and didn't even make a fuss at all. :)
Motherhood is so fun, and it is an honor to be Adalaide's mother!!
| She loves her carrots, and strangely enough, it's the only thing she gets all over her face. |
