I get the privilege of working in the Primary. One of my favorite songs to hear them sing is "I Love To See the Temple". The Spirit is so strong when they sing it. I always think back to when I was in primary and how I would sing that song with conviction, wanting so much to go to the temple. I am so grateful I was able to go to the temple and there be sealed for time and all eternity to my husband.

Day 19: Memories
This little Cupie doll was always sitting on an end table at my Grandpa and Grandma Prolo's house. When my Grandma died, my Grandpa gave this to me. A few years later my Grandpa also passed away. Every time I see this, I think of them.

Day 18: Wheeler Farm, Part Deux
I am having more and more fun with this every day. Today I went back to Wheeler Farm to take some more pictures. I love Wheeler Farm because I think that it's a great setting to take pictures. It has a lot of beautiful old buildings.

Day 17: Taking Chances
I decided yesterday that I need to take more chances. Part of the reason I wanted to do this 365 day challenge is to become a better photographer. But I noticed that when I do take pictures, for some reason I am embarrassed, so I usually just snap a quick picture and then stop. I'm now challenging myself to take dozens of pictures, and experiment. Today I tried some things with shadow and light.

Day 16: Bridge Over Troubled Waters
I have always been drawn to bridges and lighthouses. I loved this one over still water on such a beautiful day. As I was driving away from taking this picture, I started pondering on why I love bridges so much. A song came to mind that I truly love. "Bridge Over Troubled Water". It has such a powerful meaning and is a beautiful song and I've always liked it, but once I heard Andrea Bocelli sing it, I was HOOKED. I love his voice and hearing this song fills my soul with so much joy.
When you're down and out, when you're on the street.
When evening falls, when it falls so hard, I will comfort you.
I'll take your part.
When darkness comes, and pain is all, all around,
Like a bridge over troubled water, I will lay me down.
Sail on silver girl, sail on by.
Your time has come to shine
All your dreams,
All those dreams are on their way.
See how they shine
If you need a friend, if you need a friend
Like a bridge over troubled water,
I will lay me down
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will ease your mind.
This song means so much to me. We've all had "troubled waters" in our lives and are sure to have more before our time on earth is done. We can never forget to look for that bridge that is reaching over the water to help us. I am so grateful for the people in my life that have been a bridge for me. How lucky I am to have a loving family who is always there for me. I think of friends who have lifted me up, time and time again. But most importantly, I think of my Savior, who is my constant bridge over troubled waters. He has been in my shoes, and felt my pain and knows what it's like to be me. May you find your bridge when the troubled waters come your way.

I can't believe I've made it two weeks already!! For today I wanted to play around with my black and white. Then I ate a "Fun Dip" and my tongue changed color, so I thought I'd add a color photo too!!
