Day 191: Please Don't Feed the Ducks

Today I went on a picnic with my sister and her kids. We went to the park and then we fed the ducks. After we fed them and were walking back to our car, my nephew saw the sign pictured below and asked why we fed the ducks. Oopsies... I guess I am a bad influence.

Day 190: Please Don't Get Bored :)

 Summer sunsets are so pretty!! I really hope you don't get bored from all the days I end up taking pictures of the sunset. I just love them so much. I just can't wait to one day take my husband to Hawaii so that we can go to Sunset Beach and see the sunset there!!

Day 189: Another Sunset!

 I love how every sunset is different. Each one is so beautiful in it's own way. I know I post a lot of these, but I just never get tired of watching the sun set.

As the night wore on the sunset got better and better too... the sun was bright orange!!

Day 188: Love

I love this necklace!! This was given to me by my husband when we were dating. He gave it to me for Christmas, before I headed to Texas to spend Christmas with my sister and her family. When he gave me this necklace, he said "I love you" for the first time.

Day 187: The Oregon Trail

Okay, raise your hand if you remember playing Oregon Trail in school....
I always loved playing it. I was so excited when I found I could have the game on my phone!! If you have an iPhone, and you loved playing Oregon Trail... you gotta get this app!!

Day 186

 I saw these last night when my husband and I were off to the pioneer pageant and I knew I had found what I had to take a picture of today. I think they are so beautiful especially up against the sky. I love this mixture of green and purple together too... which is why my wedding bouquet had both of these colors. :)

Day 185: Pioneer Day

Today was my first official day off for Pioneer Day since moving to Utah. Last night we went to Merrill Osmond's Youth Pioneer Pageant. It was a lot of fun!! They started the evening with some sky divers. Even Merrill Osmond did it... for the first time ever last night!!

Day 184: Sunflowers

 Sunflowers are such happy flowers aren't they? I saw these the other day when my husband and I were in Midvale. So I decided I had to stop and take some pictures on my way to work this morning.

Day 183: The Sky

I have been so fascinated with the sky lately. I mean, every time I look up, the clouds look different and look amazing!!
I realized today that I am officially on a downward slope to my 365 Day Challenge too!! I can't believe I've made it half way.

Day 182: Pinks and Blues

What a beautiful world we live in! I love all the colors we can see over the course of just a day. Every time I see a sunset I am surprised again at the beauty of this earth!

Day 181: Cosmo the Cougar

Yesterday Brian and I stopped by the Relay for Life for dinner. I got to meet Cosmo the Cougar!!

Day 180: Scales and Tails

 We had an assembly at school on Thursday. It was called "Scales and Tails". They brought all kinds of creepy crawly animals. At they end we were even allowed to pet a few. I was brave enough to pet the snake. :)

Day 179: Jello Cookies

 Oh my goodness!! I had way too much fun this afternoon. I made Jell-o cookies. Didn't they turn out so pretty?
I also made some Jello popcorn with the left over Jello.
Of course now I am completely exhausted... but I think it was worth it. :)

Day 178: To Bike or to Drive?

 The summer is a perfect time to pull out the bicycle. Every spring/summer I decide I am going to bike more... but alas, I never do.
Part of the problem is I need to lower my bike seat, but I never do that... therefore I never bike...
